RECEPTIONS

WHO WE ARE:
St. James receptions committee invites you to have fun with us in providing receptions with food, and fellowship in celebrating special occasions.

WHAT WE DO:
In the coming year, we will celebrate the coming of the Bishop, Baptisms, Confirmations, Christmas Eve, and Easter Vigil to name a few. As in the past years, there may be a large reception to be announced.
Working together as a committee in preparing food, designing the flowers and tables, and serving enables us to show off our talents (which is not a prerequisite to join) and learn together.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME:
Volunteers also will provide cookies, or sweets (whatever is your specialty) for various light receptions.
For example:
Baptism mass: cake and punch
Christmas Eve Service: sweets, nuts and punch.
Easter Vigil: sweets, and punch.
Some volunteers will serve food and drinks.
Shopping will vary depending on the occasion. We share this by picking up food, baked goods, flowers, and beverages from various places.

WHEN & WHERE WE MEET:
Although this does not demand your time on a weekly or monthly basis, 2 to 5 hours will be needed when the occasion arises.
