WHO WE ARE:
St. James Episcopal Church has three youth ministries, Pathways to Logos (4th-5th), Jr. Logos (6th-8th), and Sr. Logos (9th-12th). Weekly meetings, Bible Studies, Fellowship Events, Lock-Ins, and Mission Trips, along with regular participation in diocesan youth events, makes up the active calendar of youth events at St. James. WHAT WE DO:
Pathways to Logos
Our youngest youth ministry, Pathways to Logos is for kids in 4th and 5th grades. After the Agape dinner is over on Wednesday nights, Virginia Hart leads these kids in games, Bible studies, spiritual activities and music. The night is finished with Compline and the kids are dismissed at 8pm.
Jr. Logos Youth Group
Meeting weekly on Wednesday nights, Jr. Logos is for youth between 6th and 8th grade from 6-8pm. The kids arrive at 6pm in the youth group building. We play group games such as Bobidde-Bop-Bop, S-K-A-T, and many more, until dinner at 6:30. Dinner is free and lasts until 7pm when have Bible Study until we finish the night off with Praise & Worship and Compline. Active participation in diocesan youth events such as Fall Rally (6th-12th), New Beginnings (7th-9th), Jr. High Retreat (6th-9th), Summer Camp (4th-12th), and others, has long been a tradition at St. James. Having said all of that, Jr. Logos is a whole lot of fun in a Christian community of youth who are learning about and seeking the Lord.
Sr. Logos Youth Group
Sr. Logos meets weekly on Sunday nights from 5-8pm and is for youth between 9th and 12th grades. The night starts off in the Parish Hall with free time until the free dinner at 5:30 pm, followed by group games such as Bib>Tab>Tag and Mafia. This leads into Bible Study, Praise and Worship, and the night is finished off with Compline. In addition to weekly meetings, Sr. Logos also has Senior Plus+ (11th- or grad), 1st Friday coffee house (9th-12th), semester Lock-Ins (9th-12th), Summer Camp (4th-12th) and mission trips (6th - 8th and 8th - graduated). Further, active participation in diocesan youth events such as Fall Rally (6th-12th), Happening (10th-12th), Bishop's Ball (9th-12th), Sr. High Retreat (9th-12th), S.P.R.I.N.G. at the Lake (6th-12th), and others, has long been important to youth at St. James. My hope is that any youth group member will say that Logos is a fun, outrageous, stress free and zany place to walk with God and other Christians along their spiritual journey.

Sr. Logos 5-8pm Sun.'s in Parish Hall
The Youth Building, also known as the "portable building," is located behind the A-frame chapel. Take the road to the far east of the campus that leads behind the chapel, park in back and walk around to the south side of the building. Enter either door.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME:
Its tough, show up, have fun, learn, and grow in God!
