St. James offers opportunities for adult education throughout the year. These include traditional adult "Sunday school" classes as well as Bible studies, Growth Groups, and more. Our goal in being disciples is that we may be "presented as those who are mature in Christ." (Colossians 1:28)
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Book of God is also a book of people. Love, lust, devotion, humor, betrayal, sex, sin, jealousy and grief -- the lively stories of biblical couples disclose the full scope of human emotions and actions -- still very much the truth of our relationships today!
Beginning January 15, 2012, join Mother Marci in exploring 10 great scriptural stories and the lessons we can learn from each. From Adam and Eve to Abraham and his wives, to David and the Song of Songs, to Job and his wife and to Mary and Joseph -- with a few Apocryphal stories thrown in!
Finally, we will explore what Jesus has to say about love. Curious? Of course you are! Bring your Bible if you like -- preferably with an Apocrypha -- and join in some great discussion with us!
