Wednesday evening Adult Education will resume on January 6th. Mtr. Marci will lead an introduction to Benedictine spirituality, using the text "St. Benedict's Toolbox: An Introduction to Benedictine Spirituality."
Sunday Adult Education will resume with something for everyone on Sunday, January 3rd, at 9:00 a.m., with the following classes offered:
Financial Planning: Common Sense Stewardship for Living, with Aubrey Nestman, FP, in the Main Sanctuary.
The Inquirer's Class - Journey to Confirmation, with the Rev. Phil Snyder, in the Old Parish Hall, Kitchen area
A Study of Genesis - with Fr. Bob Ahlenius, in the A-frame Conference Room
School Parents Bible Study – We will start up again on January 4 with the story Ruth and Naomi. We hope to see you then.

Plan to join us tomorrow evening for Holy Eucharist with Unction at 6:00 p.m. Following Holy Eucharist, our Agape Dinner will be prepared courtesy of our St. James Stephens Ministers - potato soup, breads and other yummy things are planned for your dining pleasure.
After dinner, join Mother Marci for a series of Lenten classes, "Healing the Spirit by Walking with Jesus." We'll begin around 7:15 p.m. Several of you who have conflicts at class time have asked for the syllabus so you can follow along in your personal Lenten reflection time -- see attached syllabus.

Healing Points: Blindness cured – are there “blind spots” in your life?

Argument with the Pharisees – took courage and truth
Do you have strength to witness to Christ before others who may not believe or who may disagree with you?
Discipline: Identify at least one person in the congregation you do not know. Make it a point to meet them and talk with them about how Jesus is present and active in our parish – and in your life!
Week Six: The Resurrection John 20,21
Healing Points: We have come full circle. Jesus heals doubt.
It is ok to doubt –
Because He loves us, Jesus appears to us.
Because He knows us, Jesus forgives us for doubt and weakness.
Because He has compassion for us, Jesus journeys with us.
Because He trusts us, Jesus commissions us.
Discipline: Lectio Divina – John 20:26-30
“Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet come to believe.”
“Alleluia! The Lord is risen! The Lord is risen indeed – Alleluia!”
