Children’s Ministry

St. James Episcopal Church Children’s Ministry
We help children from birth through 6th grade discover Jesus as their Savior and equip  parents to love and bless their children throughout their lives. We provide children with age-appropriate encounters with Jesus Christ through worship, Bible study and opportunities to serve others. We also encourage parents in their role as the primary teachers and disciple makers in the lives of their children.

Children’s Sunday School (Pre-school – 6th Grade)
Children study God’s word in the classroom with caring teachers and youth helpers. They are taught from the bible and our Episcopal heritage, and reinforce the lessons through activities, crafts and songs. Sunday School is held in the Chapel following the 10:00 am service.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a great way to invite new friends and family to St. James. Held every summer for one week, VBS serves children to learn the gospel through fun interactive teachings, crafts, song and dance

Children’s Ministry Volunteers
Invest in your child’s spiritual life as well as get to know other parents at St. James Episcopal Church. Opportunities range from Sunday School Teaching to special events and providing meals. Please contact Toni Luc-Tayengo at toniluc@StJamesDallas.org if you would like to volunteer in this important ministry!
